Delete speaker notes from PowerPoint
Strip every note before you share the deck. The slides stay exactly as they are.
Before you delete them: Noty can turn those notes into narration.
Three steps, done
Drop your PPTX
Drag a .pptx onto the page or pick one from your computer.
Check what’s there
See how many slides carry notes and how many words they hold before anything is removed.
Delete and download
One click removes the notes from every slide. The clean copy downloads as <deck>-no-notes.pptx; your original is untouched.

Before
A deck full of private notes
Talking points, reminders, client names, answers to the quiz — visible to anyone who opens the file in Normal or Presenter view.
After
A clean .pptx
The same slides with every note removed, checked before download.
Those notes are a script. Hear them.
Speaker notes are exactly what Noty reads. Before you strip them, tell Noty in the Studio chat to voice them — every slide narrated from its notes, handed back as a PowerPoint that plays itself.
Why remove notes before sharing
Speaker notes travel with the file. Anyone you send the .pptx to can read them — most people forget they’re there.
Client decks
Notes like “push the premium tier” or “they’re over budget” are fine on stage and awkward in the client’s inbox.
Students and trainees
A teaching deck’s notes often hold the answers, the punchlines and the exam hints. Share the slides, not the key.
Confidential prompts
Internal numbers, names, pricing and reminders to yourself belong in your head, not in a file that gets forwarded.
Smaller, cleaner file
Notes pages are extra XML inside the package. Removing them trims the file a little and leaves nothing behind to find.
Presenter view leaks
Present from someone else’s laptop and the notes can end up on the wrong screen. No notes in the file, nothing to leak.
Keep the notes, lose the risk
Keep the original file, or have Noty turn the notes into narration so the deck presents itself.
Removing notes — and what else they can become
PowerPoint can remove notes one slide at a time, or all at once through Inspect Document. Neither keeps a copy, and neither does anything with the words you wrote.

Use the free tool above to share a clean deck. When those notes should be heard, tell Noty — it narrates every slide from them and hands back the .pptx and the MP3.
Notes are a script — use them before you delete them
Speaker notes are the most underused part of a PowerPoint. Someone sat down and wrote, slide by slide, exactly what should be said. Then the deck gets shared, the notes get deleted, and that script is gone.
Before you strip them, keep the original file. The notes are enough to rebuild a talk, write a follow-up email, or hand the script to whoever presents next.
Better still, let the notes do their job. Noty reads speaker notes aloud: tell it to narrate the deck and it voices every slide from its notes, times each slide to its narration, and hands back a .pptx that plays on its own plus an MP3. Slides without notes get a script written from what’s on them.
That narrated deck is a good thing to share, too. The audience hears the talk without seeing the notes — which was the point of deleting them in the first place.
Your notes, spoken
Noty reads your speaker notes aloud in a natural voice — or yours — and hands back a PowerPoint that plays itself, plus the MP3.

Frequently Asked Questions
How do I delete all speaker notes in PowerPoint at once?
Drop your .pptx into the tool above and click “Delete all speaker notes”. Every notes page is removed and a clean copy downloads as <deck>-no-notes.pptx. Your original file isn’t changed.
Does it change my slides?
No. Only the notes pages and the links to them are removed. Slides, layouts, images, animations, transitions and embedded media stay exactly as they were.
Can I keep a copy of the notes?
Keep your original .pptx — the tool never changes it, only the downloaded copy has the notes removed. Or ask Noty to read the notes aloud before you share the clean deck.
Is my deck uploaded?
No. The notes are removed on your device and the clean file is built there.
Will PowerPoint open the cleaned file?
Yes. The notes pages are removed along with every reference to them, and the result is re-read before download to confirm every slide is there and no notes remain. PowerPoint shows an empty notes pane, ready for new notes.
Can Notevibes read my speaker notes aloud instead?
Yes. Tell Noty in the Notevibes Studio and it narrates every slide from its speaker notes, then hands back a narrated .pptx that auto-advances and an MP3 of the whole deck. Pick a natural AI voice or clone your own. Video export is coming with the next update.
