Can I record my voice directly in the editor?
Yes. Click the Record button (or press R) to capture audio from your microphone. The recording lands on the timeline as a new clip, ready to trim and edit. Nothing is uploaded — the recording stays in your browser.
How does the vocal remover work?
Select a stereo clip and click Transform → Remove Vocals. The editor cancels the center-panned audio (where vocals usually sit) and outputs an instrumental. Works best on commercial pop, rock, and hip-hop where the vocal is mixed to the middle of the stereo field.
Can I clean up podcast or voice-over audio?
Yes. The Cleanup menu has four one-click tools built for voice: Remove Silence (cut gaps ≥ 0.3s), Auto-Trim Silence (trim leading/trailing), Voice EQ (rumble cut + presence boost), Voice Compressor (even out levels), and De-Rumble (high-pass filter @ 80 Hz).
Can I change audio speed, reverse, or normalize?
Yes. The Transform menu includes Reverse, Normalize (boost to peak without clipping), Speed change (0.5×, 0.75×, 1.25×, 1.5×, 2×), and Mono/Stereo conversion. Every transform is non-destructive until you export — use Undo anytime.
Can I edit music and songs with multiple tracks?
Yes. Layer instrumentals, vocals, and beats on separate tracks with independent volume, mute, and solo. Trim intros and outros, add fades, and crossfade between songs.
